For the Young and Young at Heart. What a great fable about giving!

A quiltmaker, with magic in her fingers, is very generous as she sews quilts and gives them to the poor and needy in her town.

We are first introduced to the main character, Tyler, as he is finishing up his community service, the result of his attempt to become a legend by spraying graffiti on the school.

 

"My Sister's Keeper" by Judy Picoult

For the More Mature Audience

Of all the books that I have read over the years, none has been so easily recalled as this one.  Often I have challenges remembering certain events and details after I have finished reading a book, but not so with Judy Picoult's book, My Sister's Keeper.
