Teachers

The Teachers Resource page is for use by teachers:

Resource 1
Partnerships with fellow teachers

During the evening year end teddy bear display in June 2002, a couple of teachers from another school visited us, and decided to implement this program into their classrooms the following year. Our classes partnered up and we exchanged teddy bears. Our class received Snow Angel.

Below are pictures of Snow Angel and a couple of her teddy friends during her visit to Peterborough, ON. She visited the Buffalo Farm and the Peterborough Lift Locks.

The slideshow was created with a software program from Smilebox.

The Peterborough Lift Locks are the largest hydraulic lifts in the world. [Hydraulic means that it moves with water].

Resource 2
Using puppets to engage students
.

This new resource is JUST in!

A complete listing of full-bodied hand puppets, richly detailed, and perfect for storytelling, imaginative play, educating on environmental issues, or helping shy children to express themselves can be found by clicking on the banner below. A great resource for the classroom.
